Nizamabad: Nizamabad taskforce police seized six sand trucks which were illegally transporting sand from various streams surrounding MSC farm village of Yedapalli mandal in Nizamabad district.
After getting the reliable information, Nizamabad taskforce police conducted raids on illegal sand quarries in Yedapalli mandal. On seeing them, the drivers of the trucks fled the spot as the police seized six trucks bearing the registration numbers AP25W4174, TS16UA5394, TS16UB 8754, TS16UB2897, TS16UB6136, TS16UB8008 and registered cases against the owners of the vehicles.
The Taskforce police later handed over the seized tippers to Yedapally police for further investigation.
