Nizamabad: Relatives stage protest with body after software engineer dies by suicide
Tension prevailed in Nizamabad’s Eragatla limits after the relatives of a software engineer who died by suicide staged a protest with his body near Tallarampur. They placed the freezer unit on a police vehicle after officers stopped them en route to the woman’s village.

Nizamabad: Tension escalated in Eragatla police station limits after relatives of a software engineer who died by suicide, staged a protest with his body near Tallarampur village on Friday morning. As the police tried to stop them, the irate relatives put the freezer unit containing the body atop a police vehicle and staged a sit-in on the road.
Reports said the software engineer N Srikanth Reddy (29) returned from United Kingdom to marry his lady love, who hailed from another village. However, unknown to him, she was married off to someone else by her parents. A heart-broken Srikanth Reddy took poison to end his life on November 6.
His family members rushed him to a private hospital in Hyderabad for treatment but he breathed his last. Later, the relative took his body and were on their way to the woman’s village when police tried to stop them leading to the protest.
