Nizamabad: Tractor hits bike; woman dies, husband injured

Nizamabad: A woman died while her husband was severely injured after their bike was hit by a sand-laden tractor on Hyderabad road in Nizamabad town on Friday.
The couple, identified as Shyamala and Sailoo, of Ettonda village of Kotagiri mandal, was living at Yellammagutta of Nizamabad town. On Friday morning, when they were going to market, a sand-laden tractor hit their vehicle at Munnurukapu Kalyana mandapam arch on Hyderabad road. While Shyamala died at the spot, Sailoo was injured seriously and rushed to hospital for treatment. Nizamabad fourth town police reached the spot, registered a case. The police shifted the body to hospital for post mortem and are investigating.
