Hyderabad: The drinking water supply will be disrupted for 24 hours from 6 am on August 9 in some parts of the city. Hyderabad: The drinking water supply will be disrupted for 24 hours from 6 am on August 9 in some parts of the city.
The affected areas include Lalapet, Mahindra Hills, Ramanthapur, Uppal, Balapur, Maisaram, Tarnaka, Prakashnagar, Ferozguda, Gouthamnagar, Vanasthalipuram, Chilkanagar, Badangpet and Shamshabad. The water supply is being halted due to the junction works that will be taken up on the Krishna drinking water supply phase-II pipeline to facilitate the construction of a flyover in Nagole.
Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board in a press release requested people to use water conservatively to avoid inconvenience.
