Sangareddy: DSP cyber crime bureau N Venugopal Reddy urged the senior citizens never to click on spam messages they were receiving on social media and not to share OTP with anyone.

Addressing the senior citizens of Sangareddy town during a “Jagrook senior citizen” programme organised on Wednesday, the DSP asked them to remember no police or any department officials will be seeking OTP or other information. Educating them on the concept of digital arrest, he asked them to remember no officer or police will make video calls. Reddy asked them to register their complaints immediately by calling 1930 or the NCRP portal if they lose any amount to cyber fraudsters. He responded to various questions raised by the senior citizens.
