Nalgonda: Energy Minister G Jagadish Reddy on Saturday said that the welfare schemes and development programmes of the State government have built confidence among people leaving no scope for development for the opposition parties.

Attending a meeting of Nalgonda town and ward committees of the ruling party, Jagadish Reddy said that the Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao designed the welfare schemes to ensure that their results must reach every eligible candidate in the State. Every family in the State was benefited from at least one of the welfare schemes introduced by the government. With the Chief Minister’s image improving day by day, the opposition parties were slowly disappearing in the State. No political party was capable of facing TRS in State, he added.

He asked the party leaders and members to work together to rebut the false propaganda of the opposition parties against the TRS government. The party leaders have the responsibility to turn every beneficiary of the welfare schemes as supporters of the TRS in the elections, he added. He exhorted the party leaders to explain the welfare schemes and development programmes of the TRS government to the people at field level.

TRS State general secretary Takkallapally Ravinder Rao, TRS MLAs Kancherla Bhupal Reddy, Ravindra Kumar and Nomula Bhagat, Nalgonda Municipal Chairperson Mandadi Saidi Reddy and leaders of the party attended the meeting.
