No water supply in parts of Hyderabad for 40 hours from February 11 to12
Major leakages in Manjeera Phase-2 water lines have disrupted supply to several parts of Hyderabad. HMWSSB said repair works will be taken up from February 11 to 12, during which some areas will face low pressure or no supply.

Hyderabad: Major leakages to the water lines of Manjeera Phase-2 resulted in no water supply to certain areas, specifically from Patancheru to Hyder Nagar and from Kalabgur to Patancheru.
Areas that will be affected are Ramchandrapuram, Ashok Nagar, Jyothi Nagar, Lingampally, Chandanagar, Gangaram, Madinaguda, Miyapur, off-take points, bulk connections, Erragadda, S R Nagar, Ameerpet, KPHB Colony, Kukatpally, Bhagyanagar Colony and Pragathi Nagar.
In an official release, HMWSSB officials stated on Monday that major leakages have occurred at various locations of Manjeera Phase-2, which supplies drinking water to Hyderabad city, specifically from Patancheru to Hyder Nagar and from Kalabgur to Patancheru. To repair these leaks, maintenance works will be undertaken from 6 am on February 11 till 10 pm on February 12.
During these 40 hours, some areas will experience low-pressure water supply, while others will face a complete disruption in supply. Consumers in the affected areas are requested to use water judiciously, the release said.
