Northern Hyderabad braces for extremely heavy rainfall today

Hyderabad is set to receive extremely heavy rainfall on Wednesday, especially in northern areas like Medchal, Patancheru, and Gachibowli, with over 15 cm expected. Hydraa has warned that rain intensity will peak from Wednesday afternoon.

Hyderabad: Hyderabad is expected to experience extremely very heavy rainfall, mainly in its northern parts, on Wednesday.

The Hydraa based on forecasts has said some areas in the city such as Medchal, Patancheru,Chandanagar, Miyapur, Gachibowli, Kukatpally, Gajularamaram and most parts of Cyberabad are expected to receive extremely heavy rainfall, above 15 cm, on Wednesday.

The rest of the city will also be drenched in rains with an intensity ranging between 7 cm to 12 cm. In an advisory, the Hydraa said the intensity of rainfall is likely to increase as the day progresses from afternoon onwards.
