Not switching loyalties: BJP MP Etala Rajender junks defection rumour

BJP MP Etala Rajender from Malkajgiri has publicly denied rumours of his defection to another party, calling the reports false and misleading. In a statement posted on X, he criticised certain media outlets and YouTube channels for spreading misinformation and urged them not to tarnish his reputation.

Hyderabad: BJP MP from Malkajgiri, Etala Rajender, clarified that he was not shifting loyalties to any party and dismissed reports about his defection carried by a section of the media as false.

“I condemn false news being published by a few media houses, newspapers and YouTube channels. I am not switching parties,” Etala Rajender said on X.

Appealing to vested interests not to malign him, the BJP MP cautioned against damaging his reputation. “I strongly condemn this false propaganda. Do not indulge in character assassination,” he added.
