Noted photographer, artist Bharat Bhushan passes away
Bharat Bhushan was instrumental in popularising Telangana by capturing Telangana's lifestyle and culture. He was also an artist.

Hyderabad: Prominent photographer and photojournalist Bharat Bhushan (66) is no more. He breathed his last at his residence in Hyderabad in the wee hours of Monday. He has been suffering from multiple health problems for some time.
Bharat Bhushan was instrumental in popularising Telangana by capturing Telangana’s lifestyle and culture. He was also an artist.
Born to Gudimalla Anusuya and Lakshminarayana in erstwhile Warangal district, Bharat Bhushan has worked as a photo journalist in several English and Telugu newspapers and magazines. He took to professional photography where he popularised Telangana culture and tradition especially Bathukamma and rural life through his photography over the years.
Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao extended his condolences to the family members of Bharat Bhushan. He recalled the decades of the photographer’s work in spreading the lifestyle, culture and historical events of the people of Telangana to the world through his art and photography. With the death of Bharat Bhushan, the Chief Minister said Telangana has lost a gifted artist and a photojournalist.
Ministers KT Rama Rao, T Harish Rao, V Srinivas Goud, Koppula Eeshwar, Errabelli Dayakar Rao, Vemula Prashanth Reddy, Satyavathi Rathod and others also expressed their grief over the demise of Bharat Bhushan. They extended condolences to the bereaved family.
