Hyderabad: The Humayunnagar police on Tuesday arrested a notorious property offender. The police recovered three tolas of gold, Rs 10,000, a bike and other articles from his possession.
The arrested, Mohd Ibrahim (44), a resident of Reshambagh in Golconda, works as a car driver. “He moved around in localities during the day and after identifying locked houses, returned in the night and broke into the house to steal valuables,” police said.
The crime team of the Humayunnagar police caught him and on interrogation, his involvement in a burglary case in Humayunnagar was revealed, police said. He was previously involved in offences in police stations including Asifnagar, Chikkadpally, Chandrayangutta and Rajendranagar. He was twice detained under the PD Act, City Commissioner Anjani Kumar said, adding that PD Act proceedings would again be initiated against him.
