November 3 local holiday for Dubbak Constituency: Siddipet Collector
The Telangana government has issued a Government Order on Monday permitting the District Collector, who also acts as the District Election Officer, to take a call on declaring holiday on November 2 and 3 and 10.
Siddipet: District Collector P Venkatrami Reddy has declared November 3 as a local holiday for Dubbak Assembly Constituency where the by-election is scheduled to held.
The Telangana government has issued a Government Order on Monday permitting the District Collector, who also acts as the District Election Officer, to take a call on declaring holiday on November 2 and 3 and 10.
Since the district administration will be busy on November 2 in making arrangements for the election and the official machinery will also participate in counting of the votes on November 10, when the counting and declaration of holidays will be done, the State government has given all the discretion powers to the Collector to take on declaring holidays on these three days. However, the Collector has declared only November 3 as an holiday.
