Dubai: NRIs, who are residents of Kuwait and other Gulf countries, who received Covaxin in India are anxiously following latest developments as thousands of them are stranded back home as many Gulf countries have not recognised Covaxin yet.
The Indian Embassy in Kuwait announced a fresh registration drive for stranded Indian nationals who have not been able to return to Kuwait after taking Covaxin as their Covid-19 vaccine. The embassy is working to gather updated information on the affected NRIs to take up the issue with local authorities in Kuwait.

All those who registered earlier and are facing the issue may also register again by filling in the Google form online: https://forms.gle/ce3b9ETGJAeTJZku9, the note said.
It also added that any official update on this subject will be shared by the embassy on its website and social media handles: www. indembkwt.gov.in http://indembkwt.gov.in and social media accounts (Twitter: @indembkwt, Facebook: @indianembassykuwait).
