Hyderabad: Karthika Poornima celebrations were held in Saibaba Mandir, Calgary, Canada under the auspices of the Sri Anagha Datta Society of Calgary temple.
Devotees were elevated spiritually by participating in the lighting of 1000 Diyas with 365 wicks. The ceremony began with Abhishekam of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvathi and Abhishekam of Shirdi Saibaba. This was followed by Madhyana aarti, Rudra Homam, and Karthika Poornima Satyanarayana Vratam. Pandit Rajkumar Sarma guided the devotees in all the religious activities and explained the significance of the Karthika Poornima.
The event was well organized amid restrictions and other covid protocols. The temple president Lalitha welcomed everyone to take part in the religious festivities.
