NTPC provides medical equipment to Gandhi Hospital under CSR initiative
NTPC, under its CSR initiative for 2025-26, provided advanced medical equipment to the Orthopedics Department and mortuary at Gandhi Hospital. The equipment was inaugurated by senior NTPC officials and is expected to enhance patient care and hospital operations

Hyderabad: The National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC), under its CSR initiative for 2025-26, facilitated the provision of medical equipment for the Orthopedics Department and mortuary at Gandhi Hospital on Friday.
The medical equipment was formally inaugurated by Surya Narayan Panigrahi, Executive Director (HR) and Regional Head of HR (North and South), NTPC Limited, in the presence of Dr N Vani, Superintendent and ADME, Gandhi Hospital.
The NTPC support includes the provision of equipment such as C-Arm Imaging Machines, C-Arm Compatible Orthopedic Fracture Operating Tables, Cordless Battery-Operated Drill Machines, and Modern Autopsy Dissection Tables with Attached Shadowless Lamps.
Speaking on the occasion, Surya Narayan Panigrahi reiterated NTPC’s commitment to nation-building through impactful CSR interventions in the areas of healthcare, education, skill development and community welfare.
Dr N Vani appreciated NTPC’s continued support towards strengthening healthcare facilities and highlighted the positive impact the newly provided equipment would have on patient services and hospital operations.
The event was attended by senior officials from Gandhi Hospital and the NTPC Southern Region Headquarters.
