NTPC officials handing over face masks and bleaching powder to the residents of project affected villages in a programme held in NTPC on Wednesday.
Peddapalli: The National Thermal Power Corporation-Ramagundam CSR in association with Sahaya Seva Society (an e-Voice) distributed 3,000 cotton masks and 450 Kg of bleaching powder in six project affected villages on Wednesday.
At a programme held at CSR vocational centre, Dr Emani Rama Murthy, CMO of NTPC-Ramagundam, distributed 500 cotton masks and 75 kg of bleaching powder to each of the six project affected villages – Kundanpalli, Autonagar, Narrasalapally, Malyallapalli, Kannala and Medipalli.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Murthy appreciated the villagers for their active involvement and cooperation in NTPC CSR activities.
He also highlighted NTPC’s support to villagers in the fight against Covid-19 by spraying disinfectant in project affected villages and distributing masks. Dr Murthy asked the villagers to continue their fight against Corona virus by following Covid protocols and vaccinating themselves.
CSR team led by DGM (HR-CSR) DS Kumar and Sahaya Seva Society office bearers were present on the occasion.
