NTPC Ramagundam launches health assessment, follow-up camp in Manthani

More than 12,000 students will be benefited with the camp wherein dental, anemia and cancer screening would be done.

NTPC Ramagundam launches health assessment, follow-up camp in Manthani

Peddapalli: A six month-long health assessment and follow-up camp was launched by the National Thermal Power Corporation (Ramagundam) in Manthani on Monday.

More than 12,000 students will be benefited with the camp wherein dental, anemia and cancer screening would be done. NTPC in association with Rohini Foundation and the district administration is organizing the medical camp as part of the national Iron Plus and Healthy Child initiative.


IT and Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu inaugurated the camp while Additional Collector GV Shyam Prasad Lal and Executive Director, NTPC (Ramagundam&Telangna) Kedar Ranjan Pandu and others were present.

The health assessment camp is part of NTPC’s ongoing commitment to societal betterment, coinciding with its milestone of 50 years of service and the 40-year operations of the Ramagundam Unit-I.
