Hyderabad: NTT Data Business Solutions India, which is into designing, implementing, managing and enhancing SAP solutions to make them work for companies and their people, has decided to set up a new IT business centre in Adilabad town.
The announcement was made on social media by Industries and IT Minister KT Rama Rao. “Happy news for Adilabad. Met and thanked Sanjeev Deshpande, MD and CEO, NTT Data Business Solutions- India who came forward to set up a new IT business services centre in Adilabad town,” he said in the message.
This development is a shot in the arm for Telangana State, which has been working to take IT to Tier 2 towns. “Telangana Government is committed to taking up IT to Tier 2 Towns and this is yet another big step forward,” the Minister added in the message.
The State Government has set a target to generate employment of 25,000 in Tier-II and Tier III cities by 2026 and develop a robust district innovation ecosystem in five regional centres. Cities like Khammam, Karimnagar, and Warangal have already been established as IT-hubs. The State has built over 1,50,000 sqft of ready-to-occupy space in these hubs and are already fully occupied by several IT/ITeS investors. New technology centres are currently being developed in the cities of Nizamabad, Mahabubnagar, Siddipet and Nalgonda.
To attract more investors to these cities with a plug-and-play model of IT-Hubs, the Government has also decided to incentivise private developers to set up technology centres in Tier II and III locations through a private-public partnership model.
Among others, the State Government will facilitate development of these cities by improving the general infrastructure of the locations through promotion of malls, schools, tourism attractions, and other leisure activities.
Deshpande is also in the company and is also responsible for the business in Qatar. He has management experience in the manufacturing industry as well as in the IT services industry. Today, he is one of the proven SAP technology and digital solutions coaches with expertise in SAP product portfolio. Deshpande’s information technology and services company has more than 10,000 people working for it and has operations in more than 30 countries.
