Hyderabad: The not-for-profit NIIT University (NU) has ranked amongst top 10 for its BTech in Data Science programme. The annual higher education rankings were based on a survey conducted by the EducationWorld in collaboration with the Centre for Forecasting and Research (C-Fore), a press release said.
The national rankings were based on parameters such as competence of faculty, research and development, curriculum and pedagogy, placements, and range of programmes offered to name a few, the NU said on Friday.
The NU has also been recognised amongst the top 25 private universities in India besides its BTech Data Science programme that focuses on building strong industry linkages and a research-oriented approach has also been acknowledged, it said.
“These rankings are a testimony of our strong focus on developing an institution that provides exceptional education based on our four core principles that are industry-linked, technology-based, research-driven, and seamless,” said Parimal Mandke, acting president, NIIT University.
