Nurses who conquered Covid battle felicitated
Minister V Srinivas Goud felicitated the nurses at a function organised as part of International Nurses Day
Hyderabad: Prohibition and Excise Minister V Srinivas Goud on Wednesday felicitated 56 nurses who continued to render services at the Covid ward at Government district hospital in Mahabubnagar district after recovering from Covid-19.
The Minister felicitated the nurses at a function organised as part of International Nurses Day. He complimented the nurses for resuming duty in the same ward after recovering from Covid. The services rendered by the nurses are on par with the medicines given to patients, he said.
Conveying International Nurses Day wishes, the Minister said these nurses were taking care of the patients like their family members and continuing their services, taking inspiration from Florence Nightingale, a British nurse and social reformer.
