Siddipet: Finance Minister T Harish Rao said that the Nursing College and Veterinary College will start functioning from 2021-22 academic year in Siddipet. Addressing the gathering after inaugurating the Intermediate exam paper evaluation centre and Superintending Engineer in Siddipet on Saturday, the Minister said that they have made the Siddipet town an education hub within seven years after the State was created.
Saying that they have set up Medical College, Women’s Degree College, Four Polytechnic Colleges, ITI College and others, Rao said the efforts were on to set up a private University in Siddipet soon. He further said that the State government is preparing to issue notifications for recruiting various posts in different departments. The Minister said that they have increased the salaries of contract lectures by 30 per cent.
