‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’ actor Nushrratt Bharuccha has risen to limelight in recent years with her back-to-back performances. But having taken a break during the pandemic, getting back to tight shooting schedules seems to have taken a toll on the actor.

Nushrratt, who is currently shooting a film with director Luv Ranjan, recently encountered a health scare after she suffered a vertigo attack on sets and had to be rushed to the hospital. According to sources, the actor needed a wheelchair to move as her blood pressure dropped to 65/55. She was admitted to Mumbai’s Hinduja Hospital.

The doctors diagnosed it to be ‘vertigo attack’ which happens due to stress. As Nushrratt wanted the shooting of the film to be completed, filmmaker Luv Ranjan shot 23-24 days continuous at a studio in Mumbai. However, the shooting has now been stopped.

The actor further said, “I thought I would recover in a day or two but my health deteriorated. I reported it on the set. They decided to take me to Hinduja Hospital. By the time I got there, my condition worsened. I needed a wheelchair to move up. My blood pressure had dropped to 65/55. My parents had reached the hospital. The next 6-7 days were very bad. I was not admitted to the hospital. I’m taking medicine at home. I am fine now. I have taken 7 days off. The doctor has advised rest for 15 days.”

On the work front, Nushrratt, who was last seen in Netflix’s ‘Ajeeb Daastaans’, will soon be seen in the films ‘Ram Setu,’ ‘Hurdang,’ and ‘Chhorii.’
