NxtWave announces IIT Kharagpur OCN courses, certification benefits for learners
NxtWave has partnered with IIT Kharagpur Outreach Course Network (OCN) to offer micro-specialisation courses to NIAT learners from 2026. Eligible students will receive certificates, alumni status, student credentials and advanced technology training alongside their regular NxtWave programme.
Hyderabad: NxtWave has announced that learners enrolling in 2026 to NIAT – an upskilling initiative by NxtWave will have access to IIT Kharagpur micro-specialisation courses delivered through the IIT Kharagpur Outreach Course Network (A Platinum Jubilee initiative of IIT Kharagpur).
The MoU was signed in the presence of Prof Suman Chakraborty, Director, IIT Kharagpur, Girish Akash, Head of Partnerships, NxtWave, Prof Swagata Dasgupta, Dean, Outreach, IIT Kharagpur, and others.
As an onboarded partner of IIT Kharagpur OCN, NxtWave aims to provide learners with structured exposure to advanced areas of technology through micro-specialisation courses from IIT Kharagpur, alongside their regular programme at NxtWave.
All eligible students will earn an IIT Kharagpur OCN Micro-Specialisation Certificate upon successful completion, along with access to an IIT Kharagpur OCN Student Identity Card for the programme duration, an IIT Kharagpur OCN email ID for the programme duration, and an IIT Kharagpur OCN Alumni Status upon successful completion, subject to IIT Kharagpur’s policies and applicable requirements.
