The New York Institute of Technology, Old Westbury, was established in 1955.

Located in Old Westbury, New York, New York Institute of Technology was established in 1955.

Known as ‘New York Tech’ or ‘NYIT’, it is a private research university. It has two main campuses in New York: Old Westbury, Long Island, and one in Manhattan. It also has a Cybersecurity Research Lab and a Biosciences, Bioengineering Lab in Old Westbury as well as campuses in Arkansas, United Arab Emirates, China and Canada.
