Oakley and Meta unveil AI-powered smart glasses in India, launching December 1
Oakley and Meta have announced their AI-powered performance eyewear, Oakley Meta HSTN, with camera, speakers, water resistance and Ultra HD recording. Pre-sales begin November 25 and it launches nationwide December 1, priced from Rs 41,800.
Hyderabad: Oakley, in collaboration with Meta, has unveiled its new generation of smart glasses, Oakley Meta HSTN, in India, offering the celebrity AI voices, including the popular actress Deepika Padukone.
The Oakley Meta HSTN smart glasses are equipped with Meta’s advanced AI engine, allowing users to interact via hands-free voice commands. One standout feature is the option to select from a range of recognizable celebrity AI voices, including Deepika Padukone in Indian English, offering a personalized and entertaining user experience for Indian consumers. Other prominent celebrity voices will also be available, giving users more choices to match their preferences.
Designed for both style and functionality, Oakley Meta HSTN boasts Ultra HD 3K video recording, open-ear speakers, and IPX4 water resistance. The glasses support seamless connectivity with fitness apps, up to 8 hours of use per charge, and fast charging. Soon, users will also have the convenience of UPI Lite payment integration.
With six colour and lens combinations with cutting-edge AI features, Oakley Meta HSTN is set to launch at a starting price of Rs 41,800, with pre-sales commencing November 25 and nationwide availability from December 1.
