Odisha youth arrested at Charlapalli Railway Station for alleged marijuana smuggling
The Government Railway Police and Railway Protection Force arrested an Odisha youth at Charlapalli Railway Station for allegedly smuggling marijuana into Hyderabad. Officials seized nearly 7 kg of the contraband worth over Rs 3 lakh during an anti-drug operation.

Hyderabad: The Government Railway Police (GRP), Secunderabad, along with the Railway Protection Force (RPF), arrested a youth from Odisha for allegedly smuggling marijuana into the city through the railway.
The Suspect, A Mahananda (23), was caught during a surprise anti-drug check at Charlapalli Railway Station, and officials seized nearly 7 kgs of marijuana worth over Rs 3 lakh.
Police said Mahananda purchased the contraband in Rayagada in Odisha and smuggled it on the Nagavali Express to sell it to consumers in Hyderabad.
