Sangareddy: The contractor and R&B officials have dismissed the sinking of the road beneath the BHEL flyover as a minor issue. They filled the affected portion of the road while taking up pothole repairs on Saturday morning after Telangana Today carried a news report in these columns.

However, road users urged the officials to study the incident in greater detail to find out the exact reason for the sinking. Since the affected stretch is located beneath the flyover, they feared it could lead to a disaster if the road sinks again.
