Hyderabad: Officials of revenue, ACB and Vigilance departments on Monday launched separate investigations into the alleged encroachment of lands by Eatala Nithin Reddy, son of former Minister Eatala Rajender at Ravalkole village in Medchal Malkajgiri district. They examined the documents submitted by the complainant Peetla Mahesh Mudiraj who alleged that Nithin Reddy had encroached about 10.11 acres of his land at Ravalkole.

On Sunday, Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao ordered the probe by multiple government departments into a complaint lodged by Peetla Mahesh Mudiraj. The issue came to light even as the IAS officers’ committee was investigating the alleged encroachment of endowment lands by Rajender and his family at Devaryamjal.

Accordingly, the officials collected copies of various documents pertaining to the land and also obtained all the details from the complainant who said the land was in possession of his family from 1954 to 1986 as per the revenue records. He also submitted the 38 (e) certificate issued by the then government of Andhra Pradesh. The officials also conducted field visit and inspected the said land.
