Officials urged to prevention of encroachments of Ram Cheruvu
Tula Madusudhan Rao, the general secretary of the organization, stated that some individuals were illegally occupying land around the irrigation tank by building apartments and roads in the Jafar Nagar and Hi-Tech City areas. He added that a compound wall surrounding the tank had been demolished to facilitate the encroachment, causing inconvenience to walkers and morning joggers.

Mancherial: Members of Swachanda Poura Seva Samstha, a voluntary civil rights organisation, requested Collector Kumar Deepak to take steps to prevent encroachment of land belonging to Ramuni Cheruvu. They submitted a memorandum to Deepak here on Monday.
Tula Madusudhan Rao, general secretary of the organisation said that certain persons were occupying land of the irrigation tank by constructing apartments and roads in Jafar Nagar and Hi-Tech City areas. They stated that a compound wall constructed around the tank was demolished to encroach the land, causing inconvenience to walkers and morning joggers.
The members urged the Collector to instruct officials of the Irrigation and municipal departments to address the issue. They also requested him to take measures to speed up the beautification of Ramuni Cheruvu which was being dragged for quite a long time. They appealed to him to take steps to avoid discharge of sewage into the tank from Hi-Tech City.
Members Kanukuntla Mallaiah, Rangu Rajesham, Radheshyam, Satyanarayana Murthy and others were present.
