Siddipet: Collector K Hymavathi has directed engineering department officials to ensure all infrastructure facilities are in place at the Oil Palm factory coming up at Narmetta in Nanganur mandal. The Rs 300 crore project, spread over 62 acres, was sanctioned by the previous BRS government.

With civil works nearing completion and the trial run of machinery already successful, the government is preparing to inaugurate the facility through Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy soon. During her inspection on Thursday, Hymavathi instructed officials to lay internal BT roads and complete drainage systems, along with clearing bushes across the site. She asked them to finish all pending works to make the factory operational at the earliest.
