Oil tanker, container truck collision halts traffic on ORR near Kollur
A container truck collided with an oil tanker on the Outer Ring Road near Kollur on Friday, overturning the tanker and injuring both drivers. Kollur Police quickly shifted the injured and cleared the vehicles, restoring traffic during peak hours.
Hyderabad: A road accident involving an oil tanker and a container truck caused traffic disruption on the Outer Ring Road (ORR) near Kollur on Friday.
According to information available, a container truck belonging to Safe Express Company collided with an oil tanker heading towards Kollur from behind. The impact led to the tanker overturning on the road and resulting in injuries to both drivers.
The damaged vehicles lay across the carriageway, bringing traffic to a halt temporarily and causing inconvenience to commuters passing by the route during peak hours.
On receiving information, the Kollur Police rushed to the spot and took up immediate measures to shift injured persons to the hospital, remove the vehicles from the road and clear traffic.
