Hyderabad: Oktober, a new brewery on Road No. 10 in Jubilee Hills, has opened with a concept that brings craft beer, cocktails, diverse cuisine and music together in a setting designed for leisurely gatherings.
Founded by Snehit Reddy and Rashmi Reddy, the venue aims to offer an escape from the city’s pace without requiring guests to leave Hyderabad. Located amid the bustle of Jubilee Hills, the property opens towards trees and green spaces, creating a relaxed atmosphere for lunches, after-work drinks and late-night gatherings.
Oktober’s beverage menu features a range of beers, including Wise Men, a Hefeweizen with banana and clove notes; Hell Yes!, a Helles Lager; Serial Chiller, a Belgian Wit brewed with coriander and orange peel; and Red Handed, an amber Altbier. The selection also includes Cloud 10, a hazy IPA, Butter Beer and Dhorasani, a lightly tart pineapple cider. Its cocktail menu features drinks such as Pear Pressure, Breakfast of the Champions, Eye of the Tiger and Jack of All Trades.
The food menu combines Indian and international influences. Dishes include Truffle Tandoori Paneer Tikka with Parmesan Cloud, Banana Leaf Chilli Fish, Dahi Bhalla Chaat served with rasmalai, German sausages cooked in a malty beer broth, Ragi Wild Mushroom Dumplings and Qubani Cheesecake.
Designed by architect Srikanth Reddy of 23 Degrees Design Shift, the building features red-pigmented concrete, shifting cubic volumes, yellow accents and terraces overlooking the neighbouring park. The design creates a contrast with the surrounding urban landscape.
Co-founder Rashmi Reddy said the idea was to create a place where guests could enjoy everything from a long lunch to an evening of cocktails and music without feeling rushed.
Oktober’s name also reflects its address on Road No. 10 and the number’s association with October, the year’s tenth month.
