Old rivalry claims life of man in Karimnagar

A long-standing rivalry between neighbours in Patharlapalli village of Ellanthakunta mandal, Karimnagar, turned violent on Tuesday, leading to the death of Nandikonda Raju and injuries to his son Nishanth, who is currently hospitalised.

Karimnagar: Old rivalry with neighbours claimed the life of a person in Patharlapalli of Ellandakunta mandal on Tuesday.

According to villagers, Nandikonda Raju (42) and his son Nishanth were attacked by neighbours due to old rivalry. While Raju died, Nishanth is undergoing treatment in a hospital. Upon receiving information, police rushed to the spot, registered a case and began an investigation.
