Hyderabad: The State Health Department completed administration of one crore second doses of Covid vaccines in Telangana, a creditable achievement given the vaccine hesitation that has set-in among people following the drop in daily Covid-19 infections in the past few months.
According to the vaccine bulletin released by the Director of Public Health (DPH) Dr G Srinivasa Rao here on Wednesday, so far 1,00,40,803 second dose of Covid vaccines have been administered in Telangana.
Overall, a total of 3,28,54,475 doses of Covid vaccines have been administered out of which 2,28,13,672 are first dose while the remaining 1,00,40,803 were second dose of Covid vaccines.
The pace of rolling-out the Covid vaccines has remained healthy with authorities managing to administer 2,85,187 Covid vaccine doses between Monday and Tuesday. Out of the 2,85,287 doses, a total of 1,53,607 Covid vaccines were first dose while 1,31,580 were second dose of the Covid vaccines.
