Karimnagar: One person die and 14 others were injured when a speeding car rammed into an auto rickshaw from the rear at near Vageeshwari engineering college at Thimmapur mandal on Rajiv Raharadi on Sunday. The autorickshaw turned turtle.
While a woman, Veeramallu Narsamma (20), who was traveling in the autorickshaw, died on the spot, 14 others were injured in the incident.
On coming to know about the incident, police rushed to the spot and shifted the injured persons to the district headquarters hospital where they are undergoing treatment.
The condition of two persons Dundigalla Shekhar and Veeramalla Swapna, who received serious injuries, is said to be serious.
The group, all residents of Valimidi, Palakurthy mandal in Jangaon district, were proceeding to Vemulawada. A total of 15 persons were traveling in the autorickshaw at the time of incident.
