One dies and three injured in road accident at Hayathnagar

Hyderabad: One person died and three others injured when the tractor trolley they were traveling in was hit by a rashly driven truck on National Highway- 65 at Hayathnagar on Thursday morning.
The victim was identified as R. Allappa (32) from Ranganayakulla Gutta and the injured are Shekhar (40), Nagaraju (42) and Ramu (32), all residents of Pedda Amberpet and friends and wood cutters by profession.
According to the police, the incident occurred around 8 am, when the four persons were proceeding to work at a construction site from Pedda Amberpet towards Hayathnagar in the tractor trolley.
When they reached near Word and Deed School in Hayathnagar, the driver of the tractor slowed down to take a ‘U’ turn. It was then, the truck which was being driven in a rash and negligent manner in the same direction, crashed into the tractor from behind.
“Due to the impact, all fell from the tractor trolley on the road and suffered multiple bleeding injuries. While Allappa died on the spot, others were shifted to the Osmania General Hospital for treatment,” said an official.
The Hayathnagar police booked a case of negligent causing death and injuries and took up investigation. Efforts are on to identify and nab the absconding truck driver.
