One dies, other injured as car mows down two bikes in Mancherial
Police said that Indarapu Shivapriya, a music teacher working with TG Social Welfare Residential School-Luxettipet died on the spot, while Naheemuddin, a Panchayat secretary received injuries when the car dashed the two bikes. Condition of Naheemuddin was learnt to be stable
Mancherial: A 38-year-old government teacher was killed on the spot, while another person sustained injuries when a car mowed down two scooters at Gudipet village in Hajipur mandal on Friday evening.
Police said that Indarapu Shivapriya, a music teacher working with TG Social Welfare Residential School-Luxettipet died on the spot, while Naheemuddin, a Panchayat secretary received injuries when the car dashed the two bikes. Condition of Naheemuddin was learnt to be stable.
Naheemuddin was a secretary of Lingampalli village in Chennur mandal.
Shivapriya hails from Kagaznagar. She was a promising singer of the district.
A case was registered against the driver of the car from Mancherial. Investigations were taken up.
