One killed, another injured as school bus hits bike in Siddipet

A 48-year-old man died and another was seriously injured after a private school bus hit their motorcycle in Jagadevpur mandal of Siddipet district. The injured person is undergoing treatment at a government hospital in Gajwel.

Siddipet: One person died and another was injured after a private school bus knocked down a two-wheeler at Peerlapally in Jagadevpur mandal on Tuesday.

The Saint Peter’s High School bus, located in Jagadevpur, was proceeding towards Peerlapally to drop students on Rajiv Rahadari when it hit the motorcycle. The rider, Allakunta Ramesh (48), died on the spot, while the pillion rider, Mallaiah (70), both residents of the Jagadevpur mandal headquarters, sustained serious injuries. Mallaiah was shifted to the government hospital in Gajwel for treatment, while Ramesh’s body was shifted to the same hospital for postmortem.


A case has been registered.
