One killed as car rams into auto in Asifabad
According to the Kaghaznagar Police, the deceased was identified as Jummidi Somayya (45), the autorickshaw driver and resident of Borlakunta village in Dahegaon mandal
Kumram Bheem Asifabad : A 45-year-old man was killed and another critically injured when a car rammed into an autorickshaw in Kaghaznagar on Sunday.
According to the Kaghaznagar Police, the deceased was identified as Jummidi Somayya (45), the autorickshaw driver and resident of Borlakunta village in Dahegaon mandal. Bheem Rao, the driver of the car and resident of Kaghazngar town was injured in the mishap.
Somayya received fatal head injuries when the car rammed the autorickshaw and died on the spot. Passengers in the rickshaw suffered minor injuries in the mishap.
Based on a complaint lodged by the family of the deceased, a case was registered against the driver of the car. Investigations have been taken up.
