One killed as lorry rams tractor in Telangana’s Mancherial

Bhukya Suresh from Somagudem sustained serious injuries in the collision, resulting in his instant death, say police

Mancherial: A tractor driver died on the spot and another person sustained injuries when a lorry rammed the tractor at Pegadapalli village in Thandur mandal on Tuesday.

Thandur Sub-Inspector Kiran said Bhukya Suresh (28) from Somagudem sustained serious injuries in the collision, resulting in his instant death. Another person identified as Raju was also injured. The tractor was heading to Asifabad, while the lorry was moving in the same direction.

Based on a complaint from the victim’s family member, a case has been registered against the lorry driver. Investigation is under way.
