One killed due to property dispute between step brothers in Nizamabad

Nizamabad: A 31-year-old man was killed by his step brother during a fight between them over property dispute at Ambam village of Yedapally mandal in Nizamabad district on Friday night.

Juttu Hanumandlu, a resident of Ambam, has two wives and two sons, one from each wife. Hanumandlu has two acres of land and he divided it into two parts and gave one acre each to both his sons. But his elder son, Juttu Srinu (31) opposed it and demanded to register entire two acres of land on his name and tried to attack his stepbrother Juttu Narender on Friday night with a sharp object.
In the fight that ensued, Narender snatched the weapon from Srinu’s hand and attacked the latter. Srinu got seriously injured and died on the spot.
Yedapally police reached the spot and conduct enquiries into the incident. They registered a case on the basis of a complaint lodged by Srinu’s wife Nagamani.
