One killed, three injured as bikes collide head-on in Warangal

The deceased was identified as Alakutla Saraiah (40) of Kantayapalem village in Thorrur mandal. The injured were rushed to the MGM Hospital in Warangal by the police.

Warangal Rural: One person died and three others were seriously injured when two motorcycles collided head-on near a petrol pump on the outskirts of Katryala village of Wardhannapet mandal in the district on Thursday.

The deceased was identified as Alakutla Saraiah (40) of Kantayapalem village in Thorrur mandal. The injured were rushed to the MGM Hospital in Warangal by the police.


According to official sources, Saraiah along with another person was going to his village while Ch Raju and his friend P Uday of Upparapally village were on their way to their village when the collision occurred. Saraiah, who was riding at a high speed, died on the spot, while his pillion rider who was also carrying a bicycle, suffered serious injuries. Wardhannapet police registered a case and are investigating.
