One killed, three injured as two bikes collide in Asifabad

Marapa Lingu (35) died on the spot, while his pillion rider and two others had minor injuries.

Kumram Bheem Asifabad: A man was killed on the spot, while three others sustained injuries when two motorcycles collided at Mahagaon village in Sirpur (U) mandal on Thursday.

Police said that Marapa Lingu (35) from Pittaguda village received serious injuries, when the two motorycles dashed against each other on the outskirts of Mahagaon. Lingu died on the spot, while his pillion rider and two others had minor injuries. The injured persons were shifted to RIMS-Adilabad. Their medical condition was learnt to be stable.

Asifabad DSP A Karunakar, Jainoor Inspector Ramesh and Sirpur (U) Sub-Inspector Ramakrishna inspected the spot of the accident. They suspected that rash driving could lead to the incident.
