Nizamabad: An ayurvedic medicine seller died, while his wife and two children sustained injuries when a truck hit his moped from the rear side on Bodhan- Nizamabad road on Sunday. The condition of the injured is said to be stable.
Chintala Arjun (30) sells ayurvedic medicine by roaming around villages on his moped. On Sunday, he was travelling on his moped along with his wife and two children from Bodhan to Nizamabad when a truck hit their vehicle from the rear side at Satapur gate of Yedapaly mandal. Arjun fell off the moped and the truck ran over him, resulting in his instant death. His wife and children escaped with minor injuries.
The Yedapally police reached the spot and took the truck driver into custody. They registered a case and shifted the injured family members to the Bodhan Area Hospital.
