Hyderabad: The Cyberabad Police in association with Society for Cyberabad Security Council (SCSC) have launched an online resource, COVID.SCSC.IN – a one-stop-shop portal of relevant, verified information of all Covid-19 services.
Cyberabad Police Commissioner V.C Sajjanar on Friday said that though lot of information was available across social media platforms, the same is not validated and it’s authenticity is not known.
“The Cyberabad Police and SCSC felt the need for a curated and verified, one single source ready reckoner or platform that offers accurate information to the public and specially those in need of it during a crisis or emergency,” he said.
The project is being led by Pratyusha Sharma, Joint Secretary SCSC for Women’s Forum, to make verified resources available and also updated regularly. A key feature is suppliers or service providers can also register through a portal validated by SCSC.
The portal has four categories – critical care services, self care services, preventive care services and latest information.
While the critical care services include ambulance services, oxygen suppliers, hospitals and beds, plasma support, blood banks and cremation services, the self care includes Isolation centers and home quarantine support, doctors on call, diagnostic centers, pharmacies and food services.
The preventive care services has psychologists or counselor support, vaccination centers, PPE suppliers and sanitization services while the latest information includes Covid bulletins, key contacts and information and network groups.
Officials said those looking for services or information like plasma, blood, bed availability, oxygen suppliers, psychologists and counselors, diagnostic centers, food services can find verified and relevant information on the website.
