Online betting claims life of youngster in Karimnagar
A 34-year-old man allegedly died by suicide in Karimnagar district after falling into debt linked to online betting. Police said mounting financial pressure drove him to take the extreme step. A case has been registered.
Karimnagar: Unable to cope with problems arising from online betting, a 34-year-old youth, Thota Aditya, died by suicide at Kothapalli on Wednesday.
He ended his life allegedly by hanging himself at his residence around 9.30 am.
Aditya, who was addicted to online betting, had fallen into debt and other related problems. Unable to tolerate the mounting pressure, he took the extreme step.
The police registered a case and shifted the body to the district headquarters government hospital for postmortem.
