Only Indian witness to Saudi bus accident critically injured
Mohammad Abdul Shoaib from Asifnagar, the sole Indian witness to a bus-tanker collision in Saudi Arabia, escaped by breaking the bus windscreen. He is critically injured and receiving ICU care. Shoaib informed his family in India from the accident site
Hyderabad: Mohammad Abdul Shoaib, of Jhirra in Asifnagar, is the only witness to the Saudi bus accident and is in a critical condition in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at a hospital in Saudi Arabia.
Shoaib had gone on the pilgrimage along with his relatives. As he was seated near the driver when the bus crashed into a diesel tanker, he managed to break the windscreen and jump out of the bus.
The news of the incident was broken to the families in India by Shoaib with the help of some people near the accident site. He was later rushed to a hospital in Saudi Arabia for medical assistance.
