Hyderabad: Telangana BJP State president Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Saturday demanded that the State government set up a study circle in each Assembly constituency to enable students from the SC, ST and BC communities prepare for competitive exams for securing a job since the State government announced filling up of 80,039 vacancies.
In a letter to Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, he said many families were not in a position to pay fees to the coaching centres because of financial problems due to Covid. Moreover, several coaching centres increased the fee in view of the demand from the aspirants.
Keeping in view the problems being faced by the families, the State government should open study circles in each Assembly constituency. It would also be appropriate on the part of the State government if it provides free transport facility to aspirants, Sanjay Kumar said, adding that classes can also be conducted through T-Sat vidya. He demanded that the State government immediately conduct a Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) also.
