Hyderabad: Air Chief Marshal and Chief of Air Staff AP Singh on Saturday said ‘Operation Sindoor’, launched after the terror attack in Pahalgam, showcased exceptional coordination, synergy, and integration within the armed forces.

“Operation Sindoor stands as a shining testament to the unparalleled prowess of the Indian Air Force (IAF), where we demonstrated our capability to deliver swift, precise, and decisive blows to the enemy,” he said.

The IAF Chief, who was the Reviewing Officer at the Combined Graduation Parade (CGP) of the 215th course at the Air Force Academy here, said the IAF has been, and will always remain, the first responder. Stating that the battlefield is going to become more complex, he said young officers must continuously “train and retrain” to succeed in future conflicts.

“With the IAF quickly evolving into an aerospace force, many of you will lead the nation’s foray into space. All these challenges will require you to be totally committed, focused, innovative, and passionate about your job,” he told the young officers.
As for the future, the IAF Chief said two things are certain: the fast-evolving character of warfare and the increased relevance of aerospace power.

Mentioning that no branch operates in isolation, whether in the sky or on the ground, Singh said each officer has a wider role to play. Further, the Air Chief Marshal told the young officers that they had chosen a career that is not only challenging but also highly rewarding and honourable.
