Hyderabad: Family members of 48-year-old Ponugoti Venkateshwera Rao, a small business owner from Kondukur, Adilabad, who was declared brain dead, have donated his organs to needy patients under the State-run Jeevandan organ donation initiative.
On July 26, Venkateshwera Rao complained of sudden giddiness and lost consciousness and collapsed at his home and was taken to a private hospital in Hyderabad.
